- First day:
Arrival in Matera. Visit at Piano and Colle della Civita to discover the Baroque places and the Cathedral in Romanesque style. Panoramic view of the Sassi at twilight. Hotel accommodation ****. Dinner and overnight stay.
- Second day:
Visit at the Crypt of the Original Sin, masterpiece of rupestrian painting dating back to 8th - 9th century, located not far from Matera. Continuation of the visit to the Metars’s Murgia National Park, a treasure of dozens of settlements and rock churches surrounded by unspoiled nature in a fascinating and unique landscape. Return to Matera. Lunch is not included in the tour, so you can enjoy the meal by yourself. Sightseeing tour through the historical centre of the city, the Sassi and rupestrian churches, outdoor cinema sets. Dinner and overnight stay at the "Stano" restaurant winner of the "Quattro Ristoranti"cooking show, in Matera’s historic centre.
- Third day:
Visit to Craco, the fascinating "ghost town".
In the sixties, the historic centre has experienced an evacuation due to the erosion of the land and the consequent landslides, making it a real ghost town. However, this phenomenon has contributed to make the town of Craco special, which thanks to his characteristics has become a tourist destination and a film location for many movies.
