Contemporary Milan and the Fashion Distrct, Traditional Milan

Tour through the places of the contemporary city of Milan, from Piazza Cadorna to Porta Nuova to discover the architectural transformations of the city in Piazza Gae Aulenti with its Unicredit Tower, 230 meters high, and the unique Bosco Verticale, an innovative project which proposes a new way of "urban"living, in the heart of the city and surrounded by green spaces.
Here, there is the new headquarters of Google Italia, in the building designed by William McDonough, already Pandora’s headquarters, one of the world’s largest jewellery brand, through artistic installations, pools of water, play of lights and skyscrapers.
All this is enriched by a luminous soul, the Solar Tree, the technological tree that illuminates the square thanks to sunlight, designed by Ross Lovegrove and given to the city of Milan by Artemide.
There are so many numerous large brand stores in this area. Time available for High Tech shopping: furniture, design objects and fashion accessories at the former ink factory of Corriere della Sera. After a tour among tea, infusions and elegant cups in the Dammann Frčres boutique, the historic French tea house, the walk then continues along Corso Como.
